Growing up in Bee Cave, Texas Jay started singing when he was 4 years old, standing on dining room tables in Mamaw & Papaw's Johnson Trading Post Cafe. Nine year old Jay accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and from this point on Jay would never be the same. Jay surrendered to God's calling at the age of 17, was licensed, and pursued God for 5 years.
