Kate Simmonds began leading worship after visiting the revival in Brownsville, Pensacola, Florida in 1997 and encountering God in a powerful way. In 1998 she began leading worship for thousands gathered at Stoneleigh Bible Week, as well as other major UK events such as the Newfrontiers International Leadership conferences (hosted by Terry Virgo), Spring Harvest, and Mission:Worship, Kingsway Music's annual worship conference.
