Album: Hymns 29 - Hymns of Adorarion (642-664)
THIS, this is the God we adore,
Our faithful, unchangeable Friend;
Whose love is as great as his power,
And neither knows measure nor end.
'Tis Jesus, the First and the Last,
Whose Spirit shall guide us safe home;
We'll praise him for all that is past,
And trust him for all that's to come.

I love Charles Wesley's hymns but it is correct that it was written by Joseph Hart 1712-1768. In fact the well known verses are the final one from the hymn, No prophet, or dreamer of Dreams. - Nov 2019
There are two main versions. The other starts with How good is the Lord we adore. Which one was written by Joseph Hart? - Jan 2019
