Album: The Stand
Busy day, busy day, busy, busy, busy day
Busy, busy, busy, busy day
Busy day, busy day, busy, busy, busy day
Busy, busy, busy, busy day
I find that the telephone line, keeps a ringin', keeps me busy all the day
And I find that my radio, keeps me busy in a different kind of way
I find that my TV, my records and my magazines
I find that distractions like these, keep me busy like I don't want to be
Busy day, busy day, busy, busy, busy day
Busy, busy, busy, busy day
And I find in the afternoon, when I should be gettin' time for a rest
My neighbor knockin' on my kitchen door, puts my patience to the ultimate test
Chit chat while I sit there, tryin' to communicate
I get so hassled that I walk out the door, I got to unwind before it's too late
I find that it's a busy life, there's no time to take a minute or two
To do the things that I should do, the things that I should do
Keepin' up with the pressures I face, of the everyday life that I lead
I'm always taking care of things that I want, and forgettin' all the things that I need
Busy day, etc.
And I find in the evening time, when I should be puttin' my time aside
To read my Bible or just talk to the Lord, I find that my brains are just fried
How busy, how busy, can just this one life be
I know I'd tell you it's too busy for you,so it's got to be too busy for me
