Album: Dana Marie
I'm just stumbling, gently mumbling simple prayers
Hoping illuminated leaves don't disappear
The winters too cold for me to stay here
Feels like eternity before you appear
By the river water's flowing in a rush
Feel the surface- it's frozen to the touch
I can feel the wind rushing by my cheek
And it returns to remind me
I can't wait until the seasons change
'cuz nothing feels as calming as the rain running down my face
I miss the sunlight brightening up the day
As evening stays, life seems okay
The moon is shining like a diamond in the sky
The glowing gleam is just enough to get me by
Such a perfect scene to relieve a sigh
And leave your fear behind
Your constant love somehow takes a life and turns it into something beautiful
Your constant love somehow takes a life and turns it into something beautiful
Something beautiful, something beautiful
I'm just stumbling, gently mumbling simple prayers
