There's an invitation from heaven to ascend Mount God
to see His face and to learn His ways
to stand with the One in the midst of the candlesticks
and I'm looking to death as one lovesick
There's a longing in my heart just to be with Him
but between now and then
reality inside of me is screaming out “Come to ME”
I'm caught in a current of desire like waves crashing over me
to look at this One who is seated on the throne
and at His right hand is the King of Glory the One who chose me
this is reality looking in the Spirit

I can see a throne and He who is seated is sardius in appearance
like a jasper stone His mercy like an emerald displayed around Him
like a rainbow proceeding out from the throne
come flashes of lightning and sounds and thunder
around the throne are 24 elders seated on 24 thrones
these cast their crowns before the One who is seated
on the throne to the One who lives forever and ever they cry out
worthy is the Lord to receive glory and honor and power
and around the throne are four living creatures who do not cease to say

The pillars of the temple shake and the foundations quake as the angels proclaim
the Kingdom is here and the King is seated on a white horse clothed with a white robe down to the floor
with eyes like fire when compared to the sun His face shines brighter
and out from His mouth comes a two edged sword
and written on His thigh is the Lord of lords
He will strike down the nations with the word of His mouth
all those who oppose are gonna hear Him shout
the white robe that he wore will be dipped in blood
when He treads the winepress of the wrath of God
Jesus is the ruler of the earth
one day He will take the scroll and will purge the world
and we'll all stand before Him face to face
what we once saw dimly will be reality and we'll see where He sits

I saw a scroll in the hand of Him who's on the throne
and none was found worthy to open the scroll
but the Lion of the tribe of Judah has overcome to take the scroll and to loose it's seals
then I turned and I saw in the middle of the throne
a lamb as if slain and He took the scroll
out of the hand of Him who's on the throne
then the four living creatures and 24 elders sang to the Lord
You are worthy to take the scroll for You were slain
and purchased with Your blood men from every tongue
and around the throne angels and elders and the four living creatures raised their voice
the Lamb that was slain is worthy to receive
power and riches and wisdom and strength
honor and glory and praise
To the One seated on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and power forever and ever
