Album: Beautiful Mess
Early morning, I go flying out my front door
Start my engine, had no intention
Of spilling my coffee all over the floor
Once again I'm reminded, I'm not perfect
I'm a beautiful mess
That's at my best
I am broken just like the rest
I'm a beautiful mess
Yes I confess
I've done things that make no sense
But if I failed to see the imperfection in me
I wouldn't get to know the Savior who sets me free
So I accept that I'm a beautiful mess
Life's confusing, disillusioning
To my heart and soul
I wish I could stop forgetting
That my God is in control
Once again He reminds me that He's perfect
I'm a beautiful mess
That's at my best
I am broken just like the rest
I'm a beautiful mess
Yes I confess
I've done things that make no sense
But if I failed to see the imperfection in me
I wouldn't get to know the Savior who sets me free
So I accept that I'm a beautiful mess
Perfection's not my specialty
But Jesus cleansed me when He died for me
I'm a beautiful mess
That's at my best
I'm a beautiful mess
Yes I confess
I'm a beautiful mess
That's at my best
I am broken just like all the rest
I'm a beautiful mess
Yes I confess
I've done things that make no sense
But if I failed to see the imperfection in me
I wouldn't get to know the Savior who sets me free
So I accept that I'm a beautiful mess
So I accept that I'm beautiful mess
Oh, I am a beautiful mess
