I don't know what it is, but it's moving again!

and it's hope against hope 'til you can't letting go, open hands
waiting rooms with bated breath

I guess I've always been a late bloomer betting on the slow burn
here in the dirt, it took a while but when I felt the light
I had nothing left to lose
when you're buried, it's the perfect time to bloom

if there's a light ahead I'm moving toward it
I can't go back
I can only move forward

I keep an hourglass set on its side
so it's always right now and I'm always on time
