The Bride by Queen Majeeda

Song Lyrics

The Bride
by Queen Majeeda

Album: Wedding Invitation

The daughter,
the woman,
the bride
has endured persecutions
crucifixions
stonings and beheadings
scourgings and imprisonment
being cast in the fire
yet not consumed
being thrown in the lion's den
yet not eaten
being burnt at the stake
yet singing songs of deliverance
dragged and pulled apart
taunted,
mocked,
rejected,
misrepresented,
assassinated
but she is surviving
her vital signs are showing
see her heart is beating
and she is breathing
the living word
she gains strength
through the power of the blood
that sustains her.

Through the dark ages
her light blazed
higher and brighter
the Spanish Inquisition
could not quench her global mission
The French Revolution
could not cause her destruction
Infiltration will not be her demise
because she will survive
while giving the great commission
she thrives though executed
for not being intoxicated
with Babylon's wine.
She does not fear
the threat
to her liberty of conscience
She does not fear
the impending conflict
from her adversary
she wears the seal of God
In her forehead
in His law she meditates
day and night
and a counterfeit law
a boot leg
she rejects
therefore the mark of the beast
has no effect
on her
her name is written
in the Lamb's book of life
the Lamb slain
from the foundation of the world
and He keeps her heart beating
He keeps her singing
His blood keeps her alive
she will survive.
