Album: Driven
So many times I felt someone
Was watching over me
For there was too much unexplained
Like the day we were swimming
I jumped in the swelling river
The current quickly carried me away
I could feel my heart racing
As the grave of muddy water
Would seal my doom and claim another life
Like a hand from out of nowhere
I was lifted toward the sunlight
With just one breath, I knew that I'd survive
Now I know my Keeper
I call Him by His name
He brought me through much danger
And spared me so much pain
He knew someday I'd see Him
He was never far away
Know I know my Keeper
I talk to Him each day
I faced another river
This one, oh, so vast
Millions there were helpless
Drowning from their past
Satan vowed that he would claim
My sinful soul one day
But all at once, a nail-scarred hand
Reached down and I was saved
I was saved
Now I know my Keeper
I call Him by His name
He brought me through much danger
And spared me so much pain
He knew someday I'd see Him
He was never far away
Know I know my Keeper
I talk to Him each day
Know I know my Keeper
And Jesus is His name
Oh, I thank You, Lord, ooh...
