Jazlyn has been singing and writing songs since she was a little girl and has been surrounded by a musical family that has always encouraged her in this pursuit. Jazlyn wrote her first song when she was 10 years old, and has been writing ever since then. She started performing these songs for just her family, but by the time she was in highschool, she started expanding her platform to her peers, her church and pretty soon to anyone who would listen.
